Orientation on the Creation of Parish Family Profiles and Parish Information System
IMMACULATE CONCEPTION
Parish Secretaries and Designated Parish Encoders gathered for an orientation on creating Parish Family Profiles and establishing the Parish Information System—an important step toward strengthening pastoral ministry through accurate and meaningful data.
Today, the Parish Secretaries and Designated Parish Encoders participated in an orientation on the creation of Parish Family Profiles and the establishment of the Parish Information System. This initiative is part of the implementation of the Missionary Conversion Path of the Archdiocese of Tuguegarao, particularly our commitment to strengthening pastoral ministry through accurate and meaningful pastoral data.
As emphasized by the Archbishop, “You cannot love whom you do not know.” To serve our people more effectively, we must first know them—their families, situations, needs, joys, struggles, and journey of faith. Thus, the Parish Family Profile is not merely a database but a pastoral tool for knowing, accompanying, and serving our people, strengthening our Basic Ecclesial Communities, and ensuring that no family is forgotten or left behind.
This initiative is an important step toward becoming a more missionary, synodal, and data-informed Church—a Church that knows her flock, goes to them, walks with them, and responds to their real needs.
